Portland rocks. I stopped in Morning in Paris for a delicious iced coffee (some say it's the best coffee in Maine...) and fell in love with next year's calendar prints at Abacus. I also found a great vintage chair for my office - $14.99 at Goodwill!

mary lou's

On December 1, 1986, a young woman named Marylou opened her first store in Hanover, MA. Prior to opening this store, Marylou held a professional position with a large corporation for a period of 18 years. Marylou, looking for a more fulfilling job, wanted to try her hand at operating her own business, ideally an early morning coffee shop.
Thank you, Mary Lou, for being brave and providing us with some of the best speciality coffee flavors in Massachusetts! With flavors such as milky way, snick-a-doodle-do, and chocolate cinnamon hazelnut it's impossible not to become addicted. Unfortunately, Mary Lou's is only located on the South Shore, so today we're heading out of town for our morning coffee. Have a nice little Sunday!
