we've already mentioned "the model as muse" exhibit opening on may 6th at the metropolitan museum of art's costume institute in nyc, which will explore 50 years of iconic fashions. it is sponsored by marc jacobs and there is an excellent article about the costume institute's exhibit and the impact of muses on marc jacob's collections. the article is in may's issue of vogue and there is an edited version on style.com. i recommend reading it for an interesting insight into the fashion world and checking out the exhibit at the met as soon as it opens!
