Chicago-based photographer Laura Letinsky's "morning after moments" appear to be ordinary in nature. Yet, through careful construction and process (Letinsky often uses exposures up to several hours long to create intense shadows) she achieves simple images filled with emotion and wonderment. I think they're pretty beautiful, too - not an easy task when you're dealing with dirty dishes and rotting food. Letinsky was recently featured in elle decor, find more here.
