i recently read a little blurb about the boston shaker, a store within a store in somerville, ma. located in grand, a home furnishings, apparel and gift store, the boston shaker began as a result of the frustrations that the creator, adam lantheaume, ran into when trying to make interesting cocktails. most of the ingredients and tools he needed to create these cocktails were often difficult to find and purchase. thus, the boston shaker was born, offering its clientele well-known and obscure, specialty spirits and barware as well as expertise for novice cocktail makers. make sure to check out the website for their class schedule and other information!
