The painting is done and the floors are finished! I love how everything looks so far... it's worlds away from the dark blue-green walls, dark (and very beat up) trim and tattered carpets we started with.
The floors are fir and original to the house (late 1800's). They came back beautifully with several sandings and a satin finish polyurethane (no stain). The paint colors look pretty similar here, but the top room has a green undertone (BM 'gray horse) vs. the bottom room (BM 'revere pewter').
Decorating on a TINY budget begins next week... have a wonderful weekend! xo
