If you're like me and have a small budget for updating your closet this fall (and pretty much every season) I say keep it classic and invest in well-made, statement pieces that are timeless and go with everything. First, dig through your closet and figure out what you have and which key pieces (a neutral blazer or killer boots) are missing. Be selective (less can be more!) and creative - find new ways to accessorize with jewelry and belts that you already have.
