How 'bout a good old fashioned Tom Collins a la Betty Draper in Mad Men?
Maybe via this vintage bar trolley?
In the perfect glass, of course (hint: it's #4).
tom collins:
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- 3 oz club soda
- 1 maraschino cherry and 1 orange slice
In a shaker half filled with ice cubes, combine gin, lemon juice and sugar - shake well. Strain into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes. Top with club soda and stir in cherry and orange slice.
