I let out a shriek of happiness when this arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I love the cover and the rest of the issue is pretty fab too...
I die for this dressing room. The homeowner (Ellen Rakieten) has a thing for vintage Bagues chandeliers...hmmm perfect?
LOVE the vintage chippendale chairs painted black and upholstered in MW fabric. Also the upholstered walls (upper left) are a great way to display jewelry (why hide your gorgeous stuff?). Almost forgot the nailhead trimmed burlap on the wall in the office - great detail.
What I love in this bedroom are the details - the Donghia hemp walls, the custom artwork, the antique bed dressed in gorgeously simple Sferra linens, the nailhead trim on the trunk at the foot of the bed. Very serene, but not boring.
The marble counter, antique rug, 19th century etagere, simple black and white tile... 'nuf said.
Love these vintage spoon chairs (found at Salvation Army).
Cool collage by Robert Greene (love the look but would it be distracting in an office? Maybe not since it's in black and white...) Sweet c 1845 Danish klismos chairs.

P.S. The February issue of Lonny Magazine is out today! Cannot wait to check it out. Must concentrate on work first...
