color theory
Class yesterday was a brief introduction to color theory, which is really fun and definitely more involved than most would imagine. I was especially interested in learning how different colors relate to one another - for example if you choose a beige paint color (which unbeknownst to you has a red hue) it will more likely than not appear pink (rather than beige) when you put it up on the wall in front of your lovely green sofa. Why? Green and reds are complements, and therefore reinforce - or enhance - one another. Cool, right? You can find a brief tutorial here.
