we've already mentioned the avedon exhibit that will be on display at the mfa in boston beginning august 10, but i wanted to talk about it again because the date is quickly coming upon us. avedon is one of the greatest fashion photographers in history and i think this exhibit will be important for boston because our city is not necessarily flocked to by fashion lovers. for me, avedon is iconic because of the way that he portrayed fashion and his pictures tell a story that can be interpreted differently by each viewer. the photos below are some of my favorites from avedon's portfolio.
