The clean and neutral palette (side note: I would have chosen prettier pillows) in this outdoor space allows the kick ass landscape to take center stage. I could spend more than a few days here.
I'm not a fan of over the top theme-based design styles. Take for example a beach residence (or hotel) - I prefer a neutral palette (with a few pops of color throughout) that lends itself to its environment through discreet details, which creates a sophisticated (yet still casual) look. Here's what I mean... seagrass shades + rugs, bamboo edged nesting tables + chairs, subtle tropical inspired fabrics, greenery, shells + coral (one statement piece or in an organized grouping to create a focal point) and tons of white with happy yellows, aqua and blue tossed in.
