busy day!

Today I'm helping my fabulous boss with her shoot for Boston Home Magazine! I'm so excited to be a part of the styling for a real, live shoot, and to see the whole process come together (not to mention the issue in print!). I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend - it's so hard for me to believe that it's June 1st already! We stayed close to home this weekend and had a fabulous dinner at the Square Cafe in Hingham, then threw together a cookout and pool party at my parents house yesterday. It was pretty much a perfect weekend.

Is it possible that spring may be around the corner? I hope so. This image gives me lots of hope! I will be running around trying to find fabric and furniture for my new apartment this weekend, plus dinner with the girls in town Saturday night, and lots of space planning/drafting for my class project. It's so COOOLD out in Boston. I wish I had this cozy room to snuggle up in and drink hot tea and read magazines all weekend! I love the moroccan wedding blanket and all the layered rugs. It's funky but still really calming with all the soft textures and neutral colors.
