karl lagerfeld is going to be launching a capsule collection at macy's next fall! the collection will be in 250 stores and online and will be released in september 2011. this collection comes after his majorly successful limited edition line for h & m in 2004 so who knows what else he'll be doing for the masses in the near future.

lanvin and h & m will debut a limited edition diffusion line available around thanksgiving. recognized as a pioneer for setting trends while using intricate trimmings and embroideries in light, floral colors, lanvin with alber elbaz at the helm, will design both a women's and menswear line for the swedish clothing retailer.

I'll be a little absent from blogging this week because my niece was born yesterday! She is adorable and doing great so far (as are mom and dad). Uncle Pat, on the other hand, is still in a bit of shock. Are we really grown ups now?? Yes, yes we are...

I have crazy awesome news.... I got a new job!!! Working for one of my absolute favorite Boston bloggers/designers. I'm so thrilled that I can't stop pinching myself. I knew I had a good feeling about turning 25 :)

new apartment!

March 1st the upper left quadrant of this pretty house will be my new home with P! Totally clean and renovated with great architectural details (original crystal knobs, chair rails, built-ins, etc.) Beyond excited to decorate. More pics and info soon.

etsy update

My little shop is coming along! This cute vintage fan only lasted a couple of hours before being scooped up... and I was honestly a little sad to see it go. I guess I've grown attached to my collection. New items will show up here at b & r - in the right hand column - when they're posted. Here's a newbie from today:

I'm in the process of starting up a little etsy shop where I'll be putting some of my prettiest things up for sale. It will be a mix of vintage finds and original photography (including prints of my favorite polaroids from over the summer). I'll share the link once it's up and running. Wish me luck!

rodarte is coming to target!! the 55-piece line will be in stores on december 20 and prices are going to range from $9.99 - $79.99. some of the lines that target has had for their go international line have been just so-so but my hopes are high for this one!
