I'm taking a creative fashion course and we just finished our "non-textile" project. I chose to make a 20's inspired shift dress out of my own black and white photographs. Everyone in my class created beautiful garments out of things like paper, trash bags, astro-turf, even nuts/bolts and metal scraps (yes, she welded it all together and it was amazing). Very Project Runway-esque. Creating this dress was definitely a labor of love, but a lot of fun in the end!
