photo workshop

Casey and I took a photography course at RISD this past winter, which I loveddd. I was just browsing the summer catalogue and came across an interesting workshop that they are offering - Digital Pinhole Photography.

"Photography was once a simple process: there were no f-stops, JPEGs or even a lens, and a camera consisted of a light-tight box with a hole in it that held light-sensitive material. This was the elegant and inexpensive pinhole camera almost exactly as it first appeared in the 15th Century. Technology marches on, and today's digital technology has reshaped pinhole image capture. This workshop introduces students to the concepts and practices of digital pinhole photography on the very day when people around the world celebrate Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Open to absolute beginners and seasoned photographers alike, this course asks only that participants bring a sense of discovery to class."

The workshop is being offered on Sunday, 4/26, for a $100 fee. Check out more courses here.
