I only watched Design Star sporadically this season, but made sure to tune in for last night's finale and am psyched that Emily is this season's winner. I liked Emily's fun and carefree personality and vintage/modern design aesthetic from the start and I think she'll be a much needed breath of fresh air at HGTV. As a professional prop stylist for Domino, Martha Stewart Living and Real Simple, everything she touches is gorgeous, and I love her idea of doing a show which incorporates a persons style into their lifestyle.
